INTERPERSONAL VIOLENCE
Interpersonal violence
(like Rape, unreturned love, abusive
language, etc.) usually leads to
psychological stress for the victim. Assuming we are able to know the report results of all
recently published studies of the relationship between interpersonal violence and psychological stress ,and frequencies at which the interpersonal violence and psychological
stress is occurring in time; we can apply the LWN Function to determine the total
frequency at which the interpersonal
violence and psychological stress
is occurring in time.
For example; let us considered Θ to be the population-mean distribution of the
time τ elapsed between the violent incident and initial sign of
stress and µ
is the frequency distribution mean
of Θ
of population N and n respectively. At
population N: let us considered Θ to be 5.1 and standard deviation σ
to be 6.1. Also, at population n: let us considered the mean µ to be 15 and the standard deviation s to be 5.
How many years would the total population of the violence incident and sign of stress
grow up to 600 at probability
greater than 95%?
SOLUTION
Given the least whole normal function,
τ0.5=[1+(1+4αβ)0.5]/2α
the quantal
coefficient α and
quantal constant β is
calculated as;
α=0.61
β=4.78
and
τ=13.99≈14
hence, the total population frequency n of violence incident and sign of stress would take 14years to grow up to 600.
NOTE: the
population n which is the frequency occurring of N should be normally distributed!
